Water Guard 501 is silicone based completely transparent liquid. It forms thin invisible film on the walls of capillaries of concrete and acts as a 100% water repellent.
Technical information about Water Guard 501 and its action of repelling capacity:
Whenever Water Guard 501 is applied on the porous surface of the wall, due to its very slow low surface tension, it gets spread on the surface and form is very thin transparent and tenacious water repellent film on each capillary pore out of billions of capillaries on vertical wall.
Water Guard 501 does not seal the capillary passage required for respiration of wall. The keeping breathing function of wall constant (ultimately dampness of wall is prevented).

Being transparent, maintains original colour.
Prevents growth of algae and fungus.
Stops ageing of the building.
Smooth film formed, aids thermal insulation.
Prevents salt efflorescence, chemical erosion.

Directions for use:

• Fill all the visible cracks with any cracks seal compound. Clean the surface completely. Apply Water Guard 501 with brush and spray gun. Maintain rundown at least 12 inches. Use liberally. Don’t expose to water for at least 24 hours to form film. 1 ltr. Water Guard 501 covers approx 120 Sqft. surface.
